વિહોણું છતાં અનુકૂળ
કદાચ પ્રેમ ભાર છે, સાદગીથી મુક્ત
કદાચ તું આનંદથી કંટાળ્યો હોઇશ
તને નિરુત્સાહ લાગ્યું હશે
તારું ઘર ગાંધી માર્ગે છે
હું ધારું છુંં કે વ્યુત્પત્તિ અભ્યાસમાં
મેં તને આપેલો મોટો વંદો,ઊંચા ભૂશિરે મૂકાયેલો
પુસ્તકની ભીંતે તાકી રહે,ચોકઠે મઢેલા ઇતર મ્રુત વંદા
હું તને મારામાંથી છેંકી કાઢીશ
જેમ કાચબાની પીઠેથી પાંખા થતાં ટપકાં અને લીટીઓ
અને થોડી વિસ્કિ પીધા પછી
હું તને સંભારતી નથી.
